The South Australian team, consisting of Greg Graham, Joey Graham, Robby Heart and Damian Slater compeated agains the team of Jimmy Payne, 'Wreckin Ball' Wilson, Sean O'Shea and Carlo Cannon.  Which ever team had the most wins after 4 matches would be deemed the victors.  If there was a 2-2 tie, an 8-Man Tag would take place to detemine the winner.

After asking the crowd, Carlo Cannon became an honarary South Australian, and took the place of Damian Slater, whom had just rennounced his home town.

Jimmy Payne came to this ring gloating to the crowd that he had yet to find a challenge from the simple people of Adelaide.  NWA Australian National Champion, Jayson Cooper came out to challenge Payne to a title match later in the evening.
