STEEL CHAIN GRUDGE MATCH FOR THE TITLE - No Disqualifications
Jayson Cooper (c) vs 'Jag' Hartley Jackson
Both wrestlers will be connected together by a 20ft STEEL CHAIN. The use of the STEEL CHAIN as a weapon is legal during the match and the winner shall be determined by a three count pinfall or submission. The match will also feature no count-outs or disqualifications, there must be a winner. This match is set to be a brutal encounter with two of Australia's best professional wrestlers fighting it out for the NWA Australian Championship. This is one that should not be missed.

In an earlier update, it was mentioned that an NWA Pro wrestler with over 10 years of wrestling experience had an announcement to make at Re-Emerging regarding his future. We can now confirm that the wrestler in question is none other than fan favourite, Bruce 'Havok' Mills.
In addition to this, NWA management has received a medical report, outlining the severity of Havok's on-going back injury. This injury has been plaguing Havok for years, due to the number of times he has put his body on the line. Eleven years of going through flaming tables, falling off ladders, being slammed through thumb tacks in brutal matches during his career looks to have finally taken its toll. The report shows the critical damage done to Havok's back, and outlines the issues that may arise for the veteran should he continue wrestling.
Does this leaked report have anything to do with Havok's announcement? Have we seen the last match of one of Australia's most well known and respected wrestlers?
Over the past year, the one-up game being played by Damian Slater and Slex has slowly turned into a serious problem between the two. What started as boastful claims by Slex, and rebuttals by Slater, has at times almost come to blows as each have tried, and failed to capture the NWA Australia National Wrestling Championship.
Seeing the animosity rise between the two, Slex's manager, Rohan, has requested a tag team match between The Grahams in the hope of bringing together two of Australia's most gifted wrestlers.
If egos can be put aside, the team of Slex and Slater could be one of the most dominant teams the NWA has seen. If it can't, the hot tag team combination of the two brothers, Joey and Greg Graham, will certainly walk away with the win.
NWA Liaison Mark Aiston has announced that on Nov 14 at RE-EMERGING we will see the return of the NWA Invitational Cup.
This one night tournament will feature four of Australia's top rising stars, all hand picked by Mr Aiston himself. The tournament will consist of two separate matches, with the winners of each going on to the final later that night. Whoever is victorious in the final will not only win the NWA Pro Cup of Champions, but also receive a title shot which can be utilised at any point in the following year.
Who will win the 2009 NWA Invitational Cup, and take home the pride, trophy and title shot?
Ryan 'Bones' Malone and his unlikely tag team partner, Masked Commando IV will have their work cut out for them on November 14. The Commandos are scheduled to go up against the sometimes comical, but always brutal tag team of 'Dirty' Dick Donovan and his tag partner, the one man demolition machine, 'Wreckin' Ball' Wilson.
Better known as Dick & Balls, 'Wreckin Ball' and Dick have dominated over some of Australia's best tag team wrestlers, however always falling short of a victory. At Re-Emerging both teams are looking to make a statement, progressing their careers in NWA Pro. Can the oddball pairing of Bones and the Commando withstand the dastardly duo of Dick & Balls, or will Dick & Balls pull off a much needed victory?

The previous event, GROUND ZERO, will go down in history as the night the National Wrestling Alliance finally came to fruition after defeating EPW-Adelaide. The packed house went crazy as Mark Aiston, Jayson Cooper, Robby Heart, The Graham Brothers, AJ Istria, Carlo Cannon, Ryan’ Bones’ Malone and the Los Azteca’s overcame Benny English, Hartley Jackson, Slex, Dick & Balls, Jimmy Scarlet, Mikey Broderick, SexRock and Damian Slater in a series of matches where the winners went on to claim 100% control of the company.
It’s now the dawn of a new era of professional wrestling in Australia as the NWA PRO kicks off RE-EMERGING at Thebarton Theatre on Saturday, November 14th. All the stars from EPW-Adelaide will carry over and make the transition to NWA PRO along with the addition of many more top class wrestlers from around the country. The NWA Australian National Championship will be defended in the night’s featured bout where Jayson Cooper will face Hartley Jackson in a match that you will not want to miss. Can Cooper make it five straight title defenses and celebrate a year of being the champion, or will Hartley Jackson score the victory and finally get his hands back on the title that he believes is rightfully his?
Also, it has been bought to the attention of NWA PRO management that one of South Australia's veteran wrestlers, with over 10 years of experience, will be making a major announcement in regards to the future of his career.

Explosive Pro Wrestling returns to Cosgrove Hall for GROUND ZERO where you will witness the fallout of the huge event that took place at Thebarton Theatre at EPW Adelaide's REVOLUTION. Explosive Pro Wrestling has set the standard of professional wrestling in Australia by promoting the most spectacular live wrestling events that you will experience in the country… and it will continue at GROUND ZERO on Saturday July 25th!
At the conclusion of the last event we saw Bruce ‘Havok’ Mills taken out of the ring via a stretcher after a brutal STREET FIGHT, while the whole locker room emptied to control the tension between the ‘EPW Commissioner’ Benny English and the ‘NWA Liaison’ Mark Aiston. English went on to fire Mark Aiston and the majority of the roster stating that its EPW who own the ring and its EPW who have the contracts with the venues, not the National Wrestling Alliance. Mark Aiston responded to English stating that if he wants a war, then he has got one. With Mark Aiston and half the roster seemingly fired from EPW, what will happen at GROUND ZERO?
In the nights MAIN EVENT, Jayson Cooper looks to have a battle on his hands to keep the NWA Australian Championship around his waist. With all of his allies looking to be fired and banned from competing at the event on July 25th, Cooper will be forced to face an uneven fight going into the championship match. Benny English would love nothing more than for Slex to take the NWA Australian National Championship away from Cooper and put the dagger into the heart of the National Wrestling Alliance once and for all. Mark Aiston stated that although English is trying to keep him and the majority of the roster away from Cosgrove Hall on July 25th, there is no way that Jayson Cooper will be going into the event without his support one way or another!

The NWA-Pro Invitational Tournament continues at REVOLUTION. EPW-Adelaide’s brightest stars battle it out for their last chance to attain points. After this event, we will know, via random draw of those with the most points, who will be taking part in the tournament semi-finals.
Suffering a defeat at HOSTILE TERRITORY at the hands fan favorite Greg Graham, Mikey Broderick issued a tag team challenge to Greg and tag-partner Joey Graham, claiming that he is at his best in the tag division – a challenge The Grahams eagerly accepted.
Broderick and his tag partner Sean O’Shea, best known as The Fitness Maniacs, have both been granted positions in the NWA-Pro Invitational Tournament by NWA Liaison Mark Aiston. 14.04.09 NWA Australian National Championship match at REVOLUTION
During Hostile Territory’s 6-Man Elimination Match, Damian Slater pinned not one, but two members of the opposing team. One of those men was former friend, and current NWA Australian Champion, Jayson Cooper. Taunting Cooper as he left, the NWA Australian National Champion was heard by some as saying “I’ll see you at Thebarton Theatre”.
It can now be confirmed that on May 29th at Revolution, the NWA Australian National Title will be put on the line when Damian Slater takes on his ex- tag partner, Jayson Cooper.
The two have been at odds since late last year, when Slater turned his back on his friends. After failing short on numerous occasions in capturing the NWA Australian National Championship, Slater went out on his own, blaming his friends and the fans for distracting him. After spending months training in the United States with the NWA, does Slater now have what it takes to capture the most sought after title in Australian wrestling? Or will Cooper, the man who has defeated every challenger since he won the strap November last year, be able to fend off his one time friend?

02.03.09. NWA PRO tournament continues
The NWA-Pro Invitational Tournament continues at HOSTILE TERRITORY. Four huge match-up’s are scheduled, each showcasing EPW-Adelaide’s brightest stars. These select few will do battle, aiming to earn points so that they may compete for the ultimate prize at the end of the year – a shot at the NWA Australian Championship!

02.03.09. Mikey Broderick to debut at HOSITLE TERRITORY
IOne half of the “Fitness Maniacs”, Mikey Broderick, will be making his debut for EPW-Adelaide. Broderick has been confirmed as a participant in the NWA-Pro Tournament and will compete against hometown favourite Greg Graham.

05.02.09. HOSTILE TERRITORY Main Event
In front of a packed house at Cosgrove Hall on January 17th, Hartley Jackson, along with his newly formed alliance of Chris Knight and Slex, left Jayson Cooper, Bruce Mills and Robby Heart a bloody mess in the centre of the ring.
HOSTILE TERRITORY will see six men come face to face in a massive 6-Man Elimination Grudge match. The main event for HOSTILE TERRITORY was originally scheduled as Jayson Cooper ©, Bruce ‘Havok’ Mills & Robby Heart vs Hartley Jackson, Slex & Chris Knight, but Slex is unable to make the event will be replaced by Damian Slater who is returning from a successful wrestling tour overseas.
With the addition of Damian Slater, this match is set to turn Explosive Pro Wrestling into a complete war zone in a match that is not to be missed.

Benny English gives Havok a Handicap at MELTDOWN.
Co-Commissioner Benny English has set out a tough challenge for Bruce 'Havok' Mills at MELTDOWN. Havok will not be facing one, but two opponents at the event when he takes on Dick & Balls in a 2 on 1 handicap match. Dick & Balls have come a long way since their bumbling debut in EPW Adelaide and they have become a formidable team who will do what it takes to win. We have seen this dastardly duo ever since their debut involve themselves in matches, cheat and interfere to help further their careers. At Re-Emerging, Dick & Balls along with Benny English came to the aid of Hartley Jackson in the main event by attacking Bruce Mills. The Co-Commissioner was hurt in the melee and solely blames Havok for what happened. Still bitter over Havok's decision to walk out on him and Jag mid last year, Benny wants to see Havok suffer in 2009 and it all begins at MELTDOWN.
Chris Knight and Rohan return for MELTDOWN!
Chris Knight and his manager Rohan will be returning to Adelaide for MELTDOWN seeking revenge on Robby Heart and Mark Aiston. Although they were the victors in their match at RE-EMERGING, their celebration was cut short as it backfired when they tried to further injure Aiston with a Singapore cane. Bitter because of their soured celebration, Knight and Rohan aren't happy with those within EPW, and at MELTDOWN the Knightmare Challenge returns and Knight is still undefeated in South Australia!
'BONES' Returns!
After nearly a year out of Pro Wrestling due to a back injury sustained by Chris Knight at NEW BEGINNINGS, Ryan 'Bones' Malone finally makes his in ring return at MELTDOWN. Coming to the aid of The Graham Brothers at RE-EMERGING when the mysterious Masked Commando interfered in the match and Powerslammed Greg, 'Bones' was there to make the save by taking the Commando out in spectacular fashion. Happy to return to wrestling at last, 'Bones' is looking forward to the match, but the question does remain, who is the Masked Commando and what is he doing back in EPW-A?

Explosive Pro Wrestling Adelaide, in conjunction with Hopscotch Films, is proud to announce the cross promotion of the upcoming cinematic release of 'The Wrestler'.
The Wrestler is exhilarating entertainment and marks an astounding comeback by actor Mickey Rourke (famous from films such as Angel Heart , Rumble Fish and Nine 1/2 Weeks ). Rourke stars as Randy "The Ram" Robinson who was a champion professional wrestler in the late 1980s. Now, 20 years later, he ekes out a living in New Jersey; a battered dreamer who lives for the thrill of the show and the love of the fans. Following a setback Randy begins to evaluate his life, his relationship with his estranged daughter and a blossoming romance with an ageing stripper (Marisa Tomei). A stunning Rocky -style movie, The Wrestler delivers the right amount of raw, awesome action and an affecting story which will stun audiences. OPENS NATIONALLY JANUARY 10.
